Shlomo Vaknin has spent more than two decades practising and teaching NLP and Ericksonian therapy. His books, The Big Book of NLP and 500 Practical NLP Forms, sit on the shelves of practitioners in over forty countries and are used as core texts in training programmes worldwide.
He trained directly under Jay Haley, served as Haley's teaching assistant in the 1990s, and built a full-time clinical practice specialising in PTSD, psychosomatic pain, and the kinds of presenting problems that resist conventional treatment. The methodology he teaches comes from the room, tested against real clients over twenty-five years, not from research populations or theoretical models.
